An immigrant has been arrested after allegedly having an argument in Marsa involving a knife. tvm.com.mt is informed that the incident occurred at the Tiger Bar at about 2.00 p.m., when an argument arosbetweenen the immigrant and the shop owner.
The shop owner alleged that the other man attacked him with a knife, but no knives were found when the Police carried out searches on both persons. Both persons accused each other of throwing the knife into the sea. During the search the Police found a piece of iron and a small quantity of drugs in a bag belonging to the alleged aggressor
The alleged aggressor was handcuffed by officers from the Rapid Intervention Unit. District Police were also at the scene.
